Celebrating Busy Working Women
Today, on International Women's Day... We want to take a moment to honor all the busy working women; whether you work a job, own a business, care for your family, or a combination of any of the above. Women are amazing! You are amazing!
When I decided to start NINE10, I thought back to my 17 years as an office manager and bank manager, to the weeks when I would work 60-70+ hours per week; and I thought of all of the ways I stressed and the things that would have helped me. I asked the women in my life; the working mothers, the single ladies, the married ladies, the dog moms, “What items would you outsource to give yourself back some time and what would help you stress less so you can enjoy your life more?” I based my business on these ideas and I strive to help all individuals (women AND men), families and businesses!
At NINE10 we have the pleasure and opportunity to assist many busy working women and business owners. They often reach out to us when they acknowledge that the work-life balance is off and that something needs to change to get it back on track. We recognize that it’s not always easy for these ladies to reach out and ask for help. But because they were willing to take a chance and allow NINE10 to help them with their personal errands, and home and lifestyle management needs, they now have more time to do their own thing in this world, to focus on what is most important to them and to have more free time in general.
What do we do for these busy women?
One of our clients is a mother of three children, all under the age of 12. She and her husband both work full-time. All three children are involved in several extracurricular activities. She relies on her personal concierge to manage her home on a weekly basis. We complete the family’s laundry, tidy the home, wipe down surfaces, take out garbage, vacuum, run any necessary errands, organize drawers and closets, etc. The time spent in the home by the concierge alleviates the time she has to spend doing laundry and household tasks on the weekend; giving her back time with her family, which is extremely important to her. As the client stated, “I love coming home after you are here. It is soooooo nice! I mean it…it makes such a difference!”
Another client is retired and recently widowed and having a difficult time on her own completing tasks. Weekly, her concierge assists with organizing paperwork and files, assists with setting up appointments and helping with budgets and general items around the home that have become more difficult for her to complete on her own. The client finds the company of the concierge to be comforting and also the assistance to be an invaluable service.
